Job Description

Intention.ly, a newly formed marketing, and growth consulting firm, based in the Greater Philadelphia area, is seeking a Brand Strategist to join their fast-moving business. 

Intention.ly helps financial advisory businesses, and the companies supporting them, identify, map, and track clear paths for reaching their next phase of success. This role will play a key role in helping our clients successfully craft messaging and positioning to stand out in a crowded marketplace. Candidates must be able to establish a deep understanding of client business objectives, conduct audience interviews, moderate brand workshops and develop tailored, ownable brand strategies.

What a Day in Life Could Look Like…

  • Confidently leading interviews with executives, key stakeholders and industry influences to build strategic recommendations for how our client’s brands should be positioned, articulated, and deployed.
  • Conducting surveys, competitor brand analysis and technology product demos to inform and inspire the development of stand-out branding stories, themes and content ideas. 
  • Writing marketing and product messaging playbooks on how our client’s evolved positioning should be brought to life.
  • Presenting and articulating your recommended brand vision to stakeholders via pitch meetings, workshops and internal spokesperson training sessions. 
  • Identifying messaging themes and creative headlines to dive inbound and outbound marketing campaigns across a variety of channels.  
  • Collaborating with our clients to build marketing collateral including webinars, internal training assets, blog posts, content offers, and presentations that help tell their story and value proposition.
  • Cultivating creative thinking by continuously looking for new ways to disrupt the status quo, test and try new messaging to push our client’s brands to the next level.
  • Maintaining all marketing projects in the firm’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to organize client meeting notes, deliverables, and action items 

 We Hope You Will Have...

  • A Bachelor’s Degree
    • Marketing, Business, or other related disciplines
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience that can span communications, marketing, journalism, or creative agency related fields 
    • Experience in B2B marketing for technology or financial services companies is preferred
  • Experience using Google Drive, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
