About The Role:

At Facet, we are building financial planning as it should be. A requirement of delivering on this is a best in class analytics infrastructure to measure, report and most importantly take action on key business drivers across revenue generation and retention.  As Head of Growth and CX Analytics, you will help drive the development and management of Facet Wealth’s revenue, client experience and retention programs. You’ll leverage your knowledge of marketing sales, finance, ad tech, analytics tech, project management, while partnering cross-functionally with marketing, sales CRM, and FPNA (finance) teams to deliver meaningful insights that leads to achieving targets. This role will report to our COO and is a critical part of the organization.

Your Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

  • Create a comprehensive analytics/measurement system to drive sales, marketing and company CX/CRM decision making and optimizations
    • Build reporting system for entire sales funnel from spend to conversion (this includes everything from ads to landing pages/website to sales pipeline)
    • Optimize performance across the entire demand gen funnel from spend to ad performance to lead to MQL to SQL to other funnel stages to close by source
    • Identify key metrics and create analytics system for early indicators of CX/retention
    • Develop a performance reporting process and governance to achieve timely decisions and results 
    • Ensure channel taxonomy and hierarchy for marketing and sales is up to date
  • Work closely with business operations to ensure infrastructure is set up to measure correctly and with FPNA on program performance and drivers 
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, sales CRM, and finance teams to deliver meaningful insights that leads to achieving targets
  • Build detailed forecasting (bottom up build outs) for each source to determine whether spend/activity plan will achieve targets monthly/quarterly, etc.
  • Work closely with Director of Growth and media agencies
    • Track $40M budget and additional expense for non working dollars for marketing
    • Scope and conduct analyses to find actionable insights for paid marketing campaigns, SEO, content and beyond to drive growth at CAC targets
    • Working closely with the marketing lead, drive spend optimization across all marketing channels based on CAC/RAC/LTV/Sales by channel 
    • Be an expert on Marketing Attribution. Manage attribution and partner across the org to ensure appropriate tracking of any new marketing initiatives (i.e., advanced attribution modeling and payback)
    • Own data operations for Growth Marketing including collaborating with DS to ensure key source data is accurate, managing relevant ETLs
  • Work closely with sales to identify all sales analytics required to drive (predictable) revenue outcomes and hit monthly, quarterly and annual targets
    • Real-time pipeline analytics
    • Funnel management and projections based on funnel
    • Tap into Gong to find actionable insights 
    • By rep analysis 
  • Build, manage and develop a high performing team of analysts (2) to start 
  • Develop a roadmap for data science and solutions for attribution modeling, propensity models and other modeling to help drive business decisions
  • Make platform recommendations for new analytics tools, as needed

Job-Specific Requirements:

  • Relentlessly resourceful and enjoys rolling up sleeves and solving hard problems

  • Operationally-focused and execution-oriented; uses insights and data to inform decisions
  • 10+ years experience in analytics roles with at least 5+ in growth/marketing analytics
  • Deep understanding and expertise of a broad array of paid marketing channels (Facebook, Google and more)
  • Recurring revenue business expertise
  • Deep familiarity with CAC, CPA, CPC, CPM, and LTV
  • Experience working closely with FPNA on delivering operating plans
  • High proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, as well as a strong grasp of funnel analytics, A/B testing, and metrics driven performance marketing

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with Iterable, Segment (CDP), SalesForce, Insights Squared, Tableau and other BI platforms
  • Mathematics or analytics background
  • Experience with Web & App Tracking/Attribution
  • Passion for Marketing and Sales/CX - you stay up to date on the industry, platforms and changes as they roll out
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (email, phone, etc.)
  • Superb organizational and client service skills
  • A proven self-starter and proactive communicator
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems and be innovative in terms of growth hacking
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Ability to synthesize complex ideas into actionable recommendations for leadership

  • A deep analytical background
