Senior Marketing Engagement Strategist

 

Join Financial Advisor Services (FAS) Marketing as a Senior Marketing Engagement Strategist. In this role you'll work closely with one of our B2B Marketing Product Owners to develop omni-channel journey strategy to increase engagement with financial advisors and drive business outcomes. You will work closely with research, data, positioning, channel, campaign, and digital strategy to uncover insights about our audience and lead the strategy and development of automated omni-channel journeys and marketing tactics designed to meet advisor needs with the right message at the right time. As a member of our engagement strategy team, you’ll collaborate with other engagement strategists to build a cohesive experience raise the bar on client experience. 

 

 

Specific role responsibilities: 

  • Lead creation and evolution of omni-channel strategies and journeys by aligning business objectives with audience needs. 

  • Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate and deliver solutions to increase advisor engagement aligned to business objectives.  Present and recommend solutions to senior leaders, internal partners, and stakeholders. 

  • Develop audience measures and KPIs in partnership with product owner and data analyst.  

  • Identify initial problem statements with product owner, set learning agenda, and collaborate with researchers to design audience research and bring actionable insights back to team. 

  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights to continually improve the client experience. Analyze data and user feedback to make decisions and recommendations. 

  • Lead audience discovery strategy and planning, and partner in stakeholder analysis including helping conduct stakeholder interviews to establish audience needs. 

  • Conduct additional research activities as needed including competitive analysis, content audits, marketing technology assessments, etc. 

  • Partner in research efforts with internal research groups and external firms as needed. 

  • Establish strategic recommendations for the marketing team you support. 

  • Evaluate current-state metrics in partnership with data analyst and digital marketing strategist. 

  • Consult on marketing tactics with channel strategists and digital marketing strategists. 

  • Develop audience measures and KPIs in partnership with product owner and data analyst.  

  • Refine backlog of work with product owner. 

  • Develop experimentation plans with digital marketing strategist and data analyst. 

  • Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. 

 

 
 

An ideal candidate will have: 

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. 

  • Minimum five years related experience. Two years in digital marketing, user experience, or client experience. 

  • Ability to define objectives and work with a team to develop a cohesive strategy that drives business results. 

  • Ability to understand and communicate customer needs and business strategies.  

  • Ability to present thoughts both verbally and visually (storytelling) using PowerPoint and Word. 

  • A high degree of creativity, empathy, passion, and problem-solving ability. 

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams. 

  • Ability to manage multiple strategic assignments at once. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Strong persuasion and influence skills. 

  • Experience working in the Financial Services sector or equivalent B2B experience.
