Job Description

The primary responsibilities of the Product Marketing Manager include identifying growth and expansion opportunities with cross functional stakeholders, support go-to-market and market penetration initiatives, create and update product positioning, messaging, and collateral for sales enablement. Reporting to the Director, Product Marketing, this role partners closely with the Product Management, Sales, and Customer Support groups to help develop and execute strategic product marketing plans to facilitate sales growth and client engagement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Director, Product Marketing to research and determine market trends, buying personas, and competitive differentiators within the product landscape.
  • Stay current on trends in financial technology, identifying new areas of opportunity for growth and development, and create corresponding marketing strategies for execution.
  • Research and understand product users, how they buy and their buying criteria; work with the Product Team to determine customer user requirements, features, and functionality specs, presenting marketing intelligence and representing marketing objectives.
  • Support Product Management in the Beta/field testing process.
  • Help develop and execute go-to-market plans, including defining the value prop and positioning statements, for new products and product enhancements, managing the day-to-day and cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Help design campaigns across the complete lifecycle of products to drive profitable growth long after the go-to-market plan has been executed.
  • Work with Product and Marketing Communications Managers/Directors to communicate the value proposition of the product to the sales team and assist in the development of sales tools that support the sales process.
  • Develop metrics and measurement tools to evaluate and maximize ROI for each initiative in support of a product launch or marketing campaign
  • Work with Director, Demand Generation and Marketing Operations to optimize results for new product lead generation and demand generation campaigns.
  • Work with Director, Retention Marketing to ensure product enhancements and news are communicated proactively to clients, with an eye on engagement and focus on retention.



  • Bachelor’s degree, Marketing degree strongly preferred
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in marketing, software product development or related field, preferably in SaaS industry



  • Understanding of financial advisory space and competitive landscape and willing to learn more
  • Excellent writer, with experience developing effective, concise, and compelling product copy and collateral tailored for target audiences
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to work within cross functional teams to achieve effective project management; team player
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills both verbal and written
  • Process-oriented, including the ability to work with the team to define project steps, plan work schedules, and track the status of project
  • Ability to organize and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Well-organized with attention to detail
  • Flexible and resourceful, willing to tackle new challenges and try different approaches when not all the information is readily available

The salary range for this position is $91,000 - $104,000; commensurate salary to be determined based on skills, professional background and expertise.  This position is also eligible, pursuant to applicable eMoney policies, for the annual bonus program, retirement contributions, health insurance, sick leave, parental leave and paid time off.
