Job Brief

Prime Trust is seeking a director of Content Marketing to build our content strategy and resource library for demand generation, sales enablement, seo/organic performance, website marketing, and field marketing. In this role, you will report to our head of brand marketing.

The ideal candidate will embody a player/coach mentality, as they build out the content discipline including building out a bench of both full-time and freelance writers and content marketers.

You will also have the opportunity to collaborate across the company, including business development, product, security, operations, engineering, and innovation - this role will have direct exposure to and the opportunity to work with company leadership.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with our head of brand marketing and communications to develop a content roadmap that build Prime Trust brand and covers the content needs for all demand generation, website/organic search, tradeshow / events, and other marketing initiatives.
• Deliver robust content to support two key outcomes:
• Prime Trust as the go-to: Make Prime Trust the place to go to learn about financial infrastructure and our products in a way that is easy to understand and approachable.
• Crypto Education: Create a "crypto 101" strategy that helps a mainstream, non-technical audience (including Wall Street, journalists, policymakers, regulators) understand the space.
• Analyze content performance and use insights to produce better content and stay ahead of market needs.
• Own social media management until a social media manager starts
• Manage a team of strategic talented storytellers committed to publishing a regular stream of content that educated, informs and inspires a range of audiences with regard to financial infrastructure and the Prime Trust mission.
• Align with Sales, Product, Security and other teams on roadmap for content needs and delivery
• Work with our head of creative on the design and visual assets needed to execute content collateral
• Collaborate with our head of communications on messaging and presentation needs
• Show curiosity and stay involved in constantly evolving our understanding of our customers, starting with our core priorities
• Research competition, and develop strategies to strongly position Prime Trust as the go-to for financial infrastructure for digital asset innovators.
• Achieve quality work that meets our goals while being distinctive in the industry.
• Effectively guide teams to the strongest creative and messaging solutions.
• Stay current on finance, business, crypto, web3 news
• Execute on above mentioned roadmaps to achieve KPIs
  
  

Experience and Skills:

• 7+ years experience as a writer and developing content to support marketing strategy
• 2+ years experience building, managing and running content strategy and operations, preferably in a technology environment.
• 2+ years experience crafting SEO strategy and executing SEO-led content
• Proven work experience managing content strategy globally with a campaign-based, insights led approach and a portfolio to back it up.
• Mastery of multiple form factors – video, podcast, long-form, short-form, social.
• Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, startup environments, achievement-based environment
• Ability to motivate and lead others in the development and execution of content projects
• Ability to direct and manage external teams and agencies
• Experience with crypto, blockchain, fintech, or finance a plus

• Bachelor's degree required, background in journalism, marketing, business
