The Role:

We are looking for a dynamic marketing associate to manage and create compelling marketing campaigns and provide ongoing marketing support for Morningstar® Managed PortfoliosTM, a leading product line within Morningstar Investment Management LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing marketing materials that will be distributed and used by a variety of channels. You will also focus on driving engagement and growing relationships with new and existing advisors through our portfolio content and communications. A key part of this role will be using data to help measure success of our messaging and content.

Responsibilities:

Specifically, the Marketing Associate will be responsible for:

  • Work on the development and execution of marketing programs that extend our reach with advisors to grow our market share and uncover like-minded advisors
  • Distribute product content and messaging to advisor through multiple distribution channels such as e-mail marketing, social media, web, and advertising
  • Develop “test and learn” strategies for performance marketing and lead generation purposes
  • Manage sales enablement tool and fulfilment process; measure usage and provide reporting to help ensure continuous optimization of content
  • Help develop, update, and maintain new and existing content for various mediums (including writing, editing, and gathering approvals for these assets)
  • Communicating updates and ad-hoc marketing activities to support programs and campaigns both internally and externally
  • Review and analyze campaign performance through dashboard development
  • Engage deeply with marketing analytics, report findings, and ensure process is in place for data tagging and reporting

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of relevant marketing experience
  • Outstanding creative and strategic thinker
  • Skilled collaborator with the ability to work in partnership and inspire integrated teams
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, and able to manage multiple projects
  • Confident self-starter who is willing to take ownership of initiatives from strategy to execution with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong and articulate written and oral communication capabilities
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment where deliverables may change as client needs and strategy evolves
  • Genuine interest in knowing and understanding our clients and the financial services industry
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with an emphasis in marketing, finance, or communications
