Job Description

Position Description: The Vice President, BDO will focus on driving the recruitment of top tier advisors within the RIA, wirehouse and IBD space via the Integrated Partner’s affiliation model. Core market opportunity/focus is advisors/firms with $75M+ of AUM. Advisors can be fee-based/hybrid advisors and RIAs.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to articulate and champion the Integrated platform and resources

  • Serve as a subject matter expert within the industry and deploy a consultative approach for prospective advisors interested in better understanding the Integrated platform and the benefits to their business model

  • Develop and support recruiting strategies which will further elevate the Integrated brand and in turn the pipeline of prospective advisors

  • Identify qualified advisors through outbound activities to include sales calls, networking, social media and traditional marketing efforts, in partnership with Integrated’s marketing and PR teams

  • Individually own the pipeline from initial contact to eventual affiliation/deal-close

  • Work efficiently and effectively with key members of Integrated’s management team, to assist in articulating the organization’s value proposition for prospects

  • Effectively track and manage the overall sales cycle of opportunities within the sales pipeline, providing updates as needed to senior management

  • Understanding the multifaceted and complex process and the various buying influences within the financial advisory community

  • Build relationships with platform partners (i.e. custodians, tech providers) and build a network of centers of influence for recruitment of advisors

  • Incorporate relevant data within the sales process to include industry, channel specific metrics

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of the RIA, wirehouse and IBD marketplace

  • Successful performance record within a complex sales role in the financial services industry

  • Process oriented, articulate, and professional

  • Series 7, 63, 66 preferred

  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to effectively navigate a prospective advisor/team is critical
